Not refreshing / CSS, Javascript and Images are cached on iOS 5 / Preview doesn't get updated

Carlos M. Torres 12 years ago updated by Alexander Blach (Developer) 12 years ago 5 1 duplicate
The iPad app was working with no problems. Now after the update to iOS5 it doesn't refresh to show the changes in the CSS. Am I the only one having this issue?

Thanks.

This is an issue in iOS 5. I will fix it in the next update.

This is fixed for Textastic 3.1.

Yes, this is unfortunately a problem in iOS 5. It seems to cache the CSS file although it shouldn't. This doesn't happen in iOS 4.

As a workaround, you can add a parameter to the url like that:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="main.css?v=1"/>

Increment the counter when you make a change.

I will try to fix this in an update.

This works but only for the first modification of CSS file, if I do more then one change to the CSS it stops showing again. When is the fixed version going to come to the app store?
Did you increase the counter after you made a change?

Right now I can't tell when the update is going to be ready.
Happens to. Me too man. Sometimes it does it with javascript :(
Sir, I really need this also . I am sure you are working the next release but please release soon. app is useless to me without being able to update CSS
