Not a bug

failure when receiving data from the peer

Any time i try to connect to my server or transfer files i set a message saying "failure when receiving data from the peer".

I have tried resetting the FTP password but to no avail. I am able to successfully use yahoo's web portal and FileZilla to connect to the server.
I have also deleted and reinstalled the textastic app, same issue...

I did manage to collect some logs though...

Here is the contents of the log file (square bracket censorship mine):

This looks like a network problem. Is there maybe a firewall preventing FTP network traffic? Can you try to use a different Wifi network?
There is no firewall on the network to my knowledge.

The test I ran with FileZilla was on the same wifi network...

Edit: I tested it on another wifi network and it seems to be working fine now...

my main concern is if I wil be able to reconnect with my home network.

It is now working on my home wifi... Probably some weird bug or network outage or something.

If anyone else has this same problem, i would probably try resetting your wifi...

It's great to hear that it works now!
